Training
LRQA offers courses and personal certification within quality, the environment, work environment and food. We offer both public courses and bespoke courses for individual companies. Our company-specific courses are extremely popular and a more cost-effective solution.
GAP analysis
A gap analysis is intended to identify which areas within a company need to be reviewed in order to then be able to achieve a certifiable management system. This process is aimed at companies who are just starting to develop a management system. A gap analysis looks at all aspects of the company and its preferred standard.
Preliminary assessment
A preliminary assessment is performed for parts of an operation and does not normally cover all elements of a standard. This is an optional extra that can pinpoint weaknesses in a company’s management system that require attention prior to the start of the two stages of the certification process.
Certification
The certification process is split into two stages:
- Stage 1 comprises a document review. Documents for the company’s management system are reviewed and compared with a requirement standard.
- Stage 2 comprises an analysis and a review of the degree of implementation, where the auditor works with the company to determine which departments within the organisation require a more in-depth examination.
Follow-up visits
The visits are arranged at intervals of 6 months and are highly valued by companies, as LRQA auditors provide the support needed to ensure constant improvement through cooperation.
Integrated management systems
Companies that choose to operate in accordance with the requirements of several standards may prefer an integrated/common management system. For example, it is common to integrate a new standard into an existing management system.
Business Assurance
Business Assurance is a procedure aimed at customers who expect maximum feedback from LRQA. With Business Assurance we want to do more than simply confirm that there is compliance with/deviation from a prescribed standard. Business Assurance is an element in all our services for management systems.
